Janelle Jordan is the managing member of Meridian Law and Realty, LLC where she provides experienced representation and guidance for individuals and families in Maryland and Washington, DC. Estate planning and probate can be daunting. When real estate disposal is mixed in, or there’s a need for adult or minor guardianship, the situation becomes even more challenging. Janelle offers compassionate, experienced solutions to help clients move forward.

Janelle is licensed to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is also a Maryland licensed real estate broker, capable of helping clients dispose of real estate after the death of a loved one, which is often one of the most difficult duties to accomplish properly during a time marked by grief.
She earned her law degree from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts from Clark Atlanta University. Janelle is also a member of the Maryland State Bar Association Real Property and Estate Planning Sections, as well as a graduate of Leadership Maryland Class of 2014. She is also very active in her community as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.

My professional experience in public relations, organizing and executing fundraising efforts, and overseeing contracts has been instrumental to my real estate work.

As a Military Relocation Professional (MRP), my work with veterans and service members is very important to me. I come from a military family and understand the special parameters of having a temporary duty assignment or permanent change of station. The pressures of having a short period of time for buying or selling a home can be challenging and my goal is to make the process less stressful.

I am a graduate of Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington D.C. I received my Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science, and Master of Science in Acquisition and Supply Chain Management and Master’s in Business Administration. Outside of work, I have a deep love for music, performing arts and community service.
